Feeling lucky? We sure are! Just a week before St. Patty’s Day, the Lowcountry Highrollers bring you Four Leaf Clobber, featuring the LCHR All-Stars in a rematch against the Classic City Rollergirls from Athens, GA and the Bruisin’ Betties  taking on the  Gate City Roller Girls from Greensboro, NC for the first time!

Doors open at 4:00PM, and the first whistle blows at 4:30PM with the Bruisin’ Betties facing off with the ladies of Gate City. The LCHR All-Stars will go skate to skate with the Classic City Rollergirls at 6:00PM.

Highroller bouts are always family friendly, with kids’ activities and the favorite “push a roller girl” at halftime. For the “big kids,” beer and wine are available, plus all the hard-hitting derby action you can handle.

Our featured charity for this bout is the Charleston chapter of Greyhound Pets of America. This volunteer-run non-profit organization is dedicated to finding caring, permanent homes for retired racing greyhounds. Check out our fantastic raffle prizes, and help out this great cause and lucky dogs!

The party keeps going after the final whistle blows, so follow us to our afterparty at the Music Farm located at 32 Ann Street downtown!

Tickets are $10 in advance and $14 at the door. Get your advance tickets from City Lights Coffee Shop, Recovery Room, Tin Roof, Red’s Ice House, Two Keys Tavern, East West Health Arts, or from your favorite derby girl! You can also get advance tickets online through Brown Paper Tickets.

Roller derby, photography, music, and chocolate will all come together for one big night at Derby Love!

BadJon and Jericho Advisors present this roller derby themed art show, showcasing action shots and themed portrait photos by BadJon, chocolates by Sweeteeth, and sass provided by the Lowcountry Highrollers.

BadJon will be shooting in a “derby love” photobooth, where you can get roughed up by your favorite roller girls. Sweeteeth Chocolates will also be on hand for you to sample their great chocolates and creations (everything is fantastic), and DJ Cassidy will be rocking dance tunes all night. Refreshments and pizza will be provided by D’Allesandro’s Pizza.

We’re closing down a block of Saint Phillip Street for the party, so bring your chosen (non-motorized) wheels and roll around with the Highrollers. We will also have derby street races to fire up your competitive spirit.

This will be a Lowcountry Highrollers 2012 season opening party, and we will have merch available so you can get your gear ready for the start of the upcoming season. BadJon will have his iconic shirts for sale, as well as prints of his amazing derby photography.

Admission to the party is free, and all ages are welcome! It all goes down on Friday, February 10th from 5:00PM -9:30PM at Jericho Advisors, located downtown at 218 Saint Phillip Street.

Come feel the derby love!
