Lowcountry Highrollers Team Rosters

The Lowcountry Highrollers Roller Derby League has grown quickly over our first three seasons, and we now boast five rosters all jam-packed with derby goodness! Our league consists of two travel teams, the LCHR All-Stars and the LCHR Bruisin’ Betties, as well as three home teams, The Swamp Foxes, The Ashley Riverdolls, and The Holy City Heartbreakers. We also have a Junior Derby League for young ladies ages 12-17, and a non-competitive Recreational Derby League.

So what are the differences between our home teams and our travel teams?

The All-Star team consists of the top skaters in the league, and this team represents the Highrollers on the road and in home bouts. The Bruisin’ Betties, a competitive group of skaters who are building their skills, also represent our league on the road at at home.

The Ashley Riverdolls, the Holy City Heartbreakers, and the Swamp Foxes consist of LCHR skaters, distributed evenly across skill levels. Home teams (also known as intraleague teams) give every LCHR skater a chance to participate in a bout. These teams do not travel, and only play against each other for bragging rights and the LCHR Intraleague trophy.

All five of our teams (All-Stars, Bruisin’ Betties, Swamp Foxes, Ashley Riverdolls, and Holy City Heartbreakers), as well as the Junior Derby and Recreational Derby,  belong to the Lowcountry Highrollers Roller Derby League.
