Saturday September 23rd! Unicorns vs Rainbows!

The Lowcountry Highrollers are once again excited to celebrate Pride week here in Charleston! Please join us after the PRIDE parade on September 23rd, for an evening full of derby love!

Doors open at 4:00pm, and the action starts promptly at 4:30pm, with the first bout of Unicorns vs Rainbows. Then at 6:15pm, we’ve got the All star bout ready to crank up the heat in a CO-ED battle you don’t want to miss!

Beer and wine selections will be available for sale (21+); along with delicious food provided by Heidi’s Bohemian, a local favorite of the Charleston food truck scene!

There will also be half time entertainment provided by the Flowertown Players!

Our featured charity for this event is Fresh Future Farm, a city-based nonprofit venture that leverages healthy food and grocery services to create socially just economic development. The ‘Good Food Revolution’ at work right here in North Charleston, SC, so please be sure to participate in our Charity Raffle to show community support and have a chance to win some amazing prizes!

Charleston PRIDE Week Celebration with ROLLER DERBY!

This year, in celebration of Charleston’s PRIDE Week, the Lowcountry Highrollers will be hosting a roller derby invitational on Saturday, September 23rd! Doors will open at 4:30pm, First whistle will be at 5pm for the first bout, and the second whistle will blow at about 7pm for a Co-ed All star Rainbows v. Unicorns!

Derby is Coming! July 15th

The Lowcountry Highrollers are back with their final double header of the season! Join us Saturday, July 15th at ISOL (Indoor Sports of the Lowcountry) at 3337 Business Circle, North Charleston, SC! Doors open at 4:30pm, so get there early to get a good seat for the action!

The 1st whistle blows at 5pm as the Lowcountry Highroller Allstars are seeking redemption from a close loss againt the Big Easy Rollergirls from New Orleans, LA!! Then at 7pm, the Lowcountry Highroller Bruisin’ Betties will take on the Tampa Roller Derby Sea Sirens.

Beer and wine selections will be available for sale (21+); along with delicious food provided by, Heidi’s Bohemian, they offer a great eclectic mix! Korean Beef Tacos, Hippie Bowls, Reubens, Happy Pancake! Bacon Brussels Sprouts, Onion Pakoras  – lots of yum yum, as well as Gluten free options! King of Pops – Charleston will also be on hand with some delicious cold treats!!

We are also sponsoring our usual local charity raffle, so please participate for your chance to win some great prizes! Our sponsored charity raffle this month is The Summerville Miracle League! This charity’s goal is to enhance the lives of people with special needs. They accomplish this primarily through the national pastime of baseball, but they also include other activities that bring together athletes and their families in a positive and enriching way! After the bout, come celebrate with us at our after party! Come eat delicious food, enjoy drink specials, and see who will be awarded MVPs. This bout’s after party will be at a local favorite, the Recovery Room downtown!
