Roller Derby! April 9th!
Did you know that April showers can bring something even better than flowers? They bring ROLLER DERBY! Join us for our Skatin’ in the Rain double header, as the Lowcountry Highrollers hit the track again on Saturday, April 9th here in Charleston, SC. Doors will open at 4:30pm.
First up, the LCHR Allstars battle it out for the first time against the Beckley Area Derby Dames from Beckley, WV at 5:00pm. Then at 7:00pm, our Bruisin’ Betties will be taking on the Upstate Roller Girl Evolution from upstate SC.
Holy City Brewing will be on hand with beer available for sale (21+); along with delicious food provided by Boogie’s Barbeque, a local favorite of the Charleston food truck scene!
Be sure to participate in our Local Charity Raffle for some amazing prizes!! Our sponsored charity raffle and donations will go to Camp Happy Days, to help Kids Kick Cancer!
After the bout, come celebrate with us at our after party! Come eat some amazing food, enjoy drink specials, and see who will be awarded MVPs at the Charleston Sports Pub!

Movie Night with the Highrollers
Interested in learning more about being part of roller derby in Charleston? Join The Lowcountry Highrollers on March 19th at 6pm as we present the movie WHIP IT & hang out for recruitment night! We will be at Holy City Brewing to answer all your questions, have fun, and get you involved!
We are on the hunt for potential skaters, refs, NSOs (non-skating officials) and volunteers!
Maybe, just maybe, we are looking for super fans too? I mean, come on, it would be great to see a mascot out there (oooh, we’ve never had a mascot before – we should definitely have a mascot), or maybe some good ol’ fashioned Gotham-style jeerleaders? Wouldn’t that be HA-larious and fun? I’m just saying. Roller Derby is for everyone, on or off skates… everyone that likes to have fun. You like to have fun, right?
But I digress. Ok so, admission is FREE for our movie night on March 19th, and you should bring your own chair if you like sitting. This event will be family friendly, however, just a heads up, the movie itself is PG-13.
